CCTEGIEC was invited to attend the 6th China-Russia Energy Business Forum

Recently, CCTEGIEC was invited to attend the Sixth China-Russia Energy Business Forum which held in Moscow.With the theme of “Deepening Sino-Russia energy cooperation and promoting energy security and high-quality development”, this forum was co-chaired by the Russian Presidential Energy Development Strategy & Ecological Safety Committee and the National Energy Administration of China, and co-organized by Rosneft and China National Petroleum Corporation.

The China-Russia Energy Business Forum was jointly initiated and established by Chairman Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China and President Putin of the Russian Federation in July 2018. It has developed into an important institutional platform for pragmatic cooperation between China and Russia in the energy field. The coal field is one of the key directions of China-Russia energy cooperation. Many well-known enterprises, experts and scholars, research institutes and industry institutions from the two countries were invited to attend.

During the forum, as a practitioner of cooperation in the coal field between China and Russia, CCTEGIEC actively promoted CCTEG to enterprises, institutions and research institutes in the Russian coal field. It had in-depth exchanges of opinions respectively with well-known coal enterprises such as Siberian Coal Energy of Russia and Kolmar Group of Russia on the current ongoing projects and intended projects of both sides. It also established good communication with Chinese coal-related enterprises to jointly explore new opportunities in the Russian market, laying a foundation for subsequent business expansion.
